Tirta Gangga Water Garden

Tirta Gangga is a water park of the Karangasem kingdom in eastern Bali. At present Tirta Gangga Park serves as a tourist spot in east Bali. It is located in Karangasem Regency. Need about 2 hours from Kuta City.

The characteristic of Tirta Gangga

There are three main things in the Tirta Gangga Karangasem Park namely the garden, the water pool, and the sculpture. The location of the Tirta Gangga Karangasem Park, located in the middle of rice fields and the water in the park comes from the Rejasa spring.

The area of Tirta Gangga Park is 1.2 hectares, which extends from east to west. There are three levels of buildings in the Tirta Gangga Bali Park. In the highest main building, there is a spring under the banyan tree. The second level building, there is a swimming pool and the lowest level building there is an ornamental pond with a fountain.

When tourists enter the Tirta Gangga Park, the first thing tourists see is the expanse of water ponds and there is one temple that rises high on the right. Inside the pond, tourists can see ornamental fish. The water in this park is very clear and cool, because pond water comes from springs, not from processed water. The spring in the Tirta Gangga ark by local people is considered as holy water. Used in religious ceremonies in the area around the Tirta Gangga Park.

Rejasa Sping has a very large, clear and soothing water. One-third of the Rejasa spring supply is sent to residents' houses in the City of Amlapura (the capital of Karangasem) and two-thirds are used to fill the ponds and the output of pond water is directly used for agriculture.
